Irapuato is a Mexican city, head of the homonymous municipality; in the State of Guanajuato, in the center of the Bajío.
It is the second most populated and most important city of the state; and the 4th most populated and most important of the region. Today, its economic dynamism has made of it the main attractor of investment.
It is also internationally renowned for the great variety of horticultural industries such as strawberry, exportation product.
ATTRACTIONS
Plaza Cibeles: The biggest shopping mall in the city and one of the most modern of the state.
Fuente de aguas danzarinas (Dancing water fountain): In the Miguel Hidalgo square. Every night there is a light, music and water show where the colors of the rainbow appear on the surface of the water accompanied by some music.
Zoo of Irapuato: Located in the southeast of the city it is the home of 103 species of mammals, 271 species of birds and several species of fish.
Ecological Park of Irapuato: Located on the slopes of the hill of Arandas, granted the title of protected natural area. It is an inmense green area for recreation, leisure and ecological culture.
